On this 3-hour tour, we walk through a cultural landscape shaped by the 1000-year history of the copper mine. You will learn more about the history of the Falu mine and how people lived in its vicinity, but also about the forest and the right of public access. We meet the grazing animals at Naturskolan and take a coffee break with them. We fry forest pancakes by the fire and drinks are available for everyone. The hike is a total of about 2 km and is not adapted for strollers.
We start and end at Lilltorpet in Falun where city buses go. There are also nice swimming facilities and the possibility to rent a rowing boat or canoe.
